Every photographer, at one point or another, explores shooting nudes. Next to nature and animals, the human form stands out as a universally accessible masterpiece we encounter daily.

Despite the political and religious debates regarding what we should or should not do with our bodies, I have grown to understand how important it is to be present in them.

For over two decades of being a photographer, I've had the incredible experience of witnessing many different kinds of people. At our core, there's a universal yearning for validation and affirmation. We all desire to genuinely embrace our physical selves, radiating a sense of empowerment, safety, and wholeness. We wish to revel in our sensuality, be genuinely seen, and harness the confidence, elation, and pleasure from honoring our bodies.

In some ways, this series has evolved into a catalyst for interpersonal change for every person who has participated. For some, it's deeper than for others. As a photographer, I am, by default, not just the artist or documentarian but also the voyeur. Every arrangement begins with a chemistry session and depends on all parties contributing creative ideas to bring the shoot to life.

The name Please Don't Tell came about because sometimes we're not ready to share the sexually liberated part of ourselves with the greater world, but we still want to be seen. So, there's always a level of confidentiality and fidelity that goes into each session. If you enjoy just as a viewer, I hope it guides you to have meaningful conversations that get you closer to your own liberation.

Please Don’t Tell is entirely self-funded by me, Érada, but if you feel inclined to donate you can do so here.

If you’re interested in participating, I urge you to submit.
